Tell Us About Yourself and What the DAB Means To You
Blessed beyond belief and wordy about it! Love you all!
Greetings DAB family! Wow can hardly believe I'm on a page writing - never have done any type forum . I have just been so very blessed by being in Gods amazing mighyt Word everyday with DAB. Maybe by sharing how I got here will encourage everyone to spread the word anyway we can. Jesus wants to heal our broken hearts and restore us. Healing and restoration are the blessings that have been mine over the past months, and so much more.

Back in early spring of this year (2012) I was just goofing off on YouTube when I came upon a basket weavers class - it took me into her blog spot - where she also testified of her faith in Jesus - I'm thinking - Jesus, I wish I had that kind of joy ! And there on that blog was a link to DAB. No fanfare just the link. I've been a listener everyday since. And Jesus has done so much more than give me joy.

I took Brian's challenge to do the Long Walk in July asking Jesus to show me what he meant about being a lover. What an amazing walk. I met the lover of my soul. I never imagined that Jesus could be so intimate and close , so loving and kind, so healing to our hearts. Gods word has totally come alive. And Jesus is becoming more and more Life within me. There are just not enough words or space to say in all the ways he has met me. Guess until that day I was not truly asking him into the heart of all my life. I'm so grateful for the personal relationship. I ask him to save me 43 years ago and have always thought that was the whole deal. He is All that He has said He is, always has been

All the resources through DAB have been just super. The Four Streams series, The Daily Prayer and St.Patrick's Breastplate prayer have been incredibly precious for me to shift into a right prayer relationship. I say or listen to the prayers daily along with hearing our DAB scripture.

I hope to meet many DAB women at the Captivating retreat in October!

Thank you Brian and family, all the Wind Farm staff, and all my DAB family for your obedience and joy filled ministry. Thank you to the basket weaver who put the link on her blog. I'm grateful and honored to be apart of this amazing mighty community. Thank you, thank you. Blessing for more to hear, in Jesus name. I hope this is encouraging for someone.

Thanks Craig and Tom. Is it not an awesome day to lay all that we are before the Father who created us? He is so worthy of all our attention and intention. Don't you just love knowing that our hearts can be healed, that we can be free from darkness? Isa. 61:1. It has taken me years to get that it is our heart, the very core of us that needs the freedom and healing. No matter where we are physically we can be free and healed. Just awesome! Absolutely amazing is our God. Have a beautiful day. You are so loved!

Took the words right out of my mouth, Cheryl. My story is so similiar it's got to be God that led us to the DAB. I found it on Feb.14th, 2010, almost by accident and haven't missed a day since. Have a great day.

Almost had the tears reading your story. You've inspired me to get off my butt and post my story now.

Yeah Cheryl!!!!! what a testimony and witness to the Glory of Our God.... thank you, I really needed to read something like that today.... I have been around since 2010, lately been preoccupied with "life" and feeling the need to get back here with my Christian Family and do some serious praying for ya'all....

Wow! What a treat , that what I have been given is blessing others! Isn't that just like our Great God! When we "open" his door with amazement and awe at his greatness and wonder, his grace and his mercy, his LIFE and ALL that he is FOR us......OH YES he is for us....but just with our tiny faith he shows up and as my friend says shows "out" in the most amazing ways. Just this simple meeting him in His word everyday and then in worship and in praying for this gracious ministry and the huge community of hearts looking to him. Can you just imagine All the ways God is being loved all over the world? All his creation in all our amazing languages and customs seeking the Father. What incredible beauty. Just brings a big smile . Thanks to all for your notes, give Jesus a BIG thanks for a joy filled heart!
