DAP in another translation?

I rather like listening to the DAP, but I do find listening to it in Kjv at the speed it's at to be a little daunting. I have to pause it often to get the full import of the verse that's been spoken, and the thees, thys and thous are.. Heeh, well, I'll be honest, I rather enjoy listening to this week's DAB, read from 'the message'!
DAB is just.. just wonderful! It sets the tone for my whole day, and at the end of it, I'm hungry for more. I want to be polite as possible in asking.. might there be a chance for a fresh DAP, in a newer translation?
