I have come expecting...

The first chapter has set the foundation, now I am ready to dig into this material with my whole heart. I have been a follower of Jesus for many years and He has been working in my life, Jesus has set me free from so much already and now I feel as if we are about to get to a whole new layer. I have been troubled lately because of my relationship with my wife, to put it bluntly, there is no spiritual, emotional or physical intimacy in our relationship. Jesus needs to bring healing in our relationship. I have been suffering from a lot of depression because of this and I am ready for healing to begin. I need a change in my heart, I'm my attitudes, and in my outlook, and I realize that only God will be able to do this work in me.
Father, I come to this study expecting you to do a work in my heart, because of the shed blood of Jesus, and I thank you in advance for what You will do, I humbly submit my will to you, come Holy Spirit and lead me into all truth. Amen.
