I just got back from my evening long walk. I had been anticipating it ever since Brian started mentioning it on the Daily Audio Bible. Today, I struck out with a back pack, water, an iPod with a specific sermon, a Christian Worship playlist and my legs. I started with the sermon to get my mind focused and was delivered a wonderful message about Jesus' complete surrender to sacrificing Himself for us. I then did some walking and listening before I turned to my worship playlist that was such a blessing. My heart was singing, my feet weren't burning from the walking and the world just seemed so much more blessed and magnificent. It was so refreshing, so needed and God brought back all of the love for playing in worship bands, brought to me bits of where my life was headed.
It was truly peaceful and wonderful knowing that people around the world were doing the same thing and hopefully feeling equally blessed. My friends on Facebook were certainly hearing about this event before it happened!

It was very comforting to know that so many people across the world were walking together. Sounds like you had a terrific day with God! Great pics!

Kimberly, I love those kinds of walks...earbuds in and listening to worship music and praising the Lord for everything in my life! Thanks for sharing your story!
