Needing Prayer

Where to begin? I feel allot of guilt for asking for prayer when so many are hurting. Especially since I'm in a bad place by mostly my own accord. I've built a house of cards, thinking God was to busy to be bothered for consult. So here I am in the midst of ruin.

One day at a time. One step at a time. Somebody here wrote that they began to turn every worry into a prayer. I think that is the answer for many of us. When the heaviness pushes into your head, grab it and hand it to the Lord. It is what He would want you to do. So, stand up, ask Him what the first step is, ask again. Then obey, regardless of your plans.
Jesus, forgive Steacks for the "house of cards." Show them the way. Redeem this situation.
Isaiah 61
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,

No matter where you are in life and what you have done, commit your ways to the Lord and He will guide you. The Lord wants to heal you and I will pray for you.

Two years ago the Word I grabbed hold of was to not look back but to look forward. God cast our past sins from memory we do not need to keep looking back, beating ourselves up for past mistakes. Make it your goal to move closer to The Lord and He will be ther waiting with open arms. I use to feel I had to come clean fix myself before I could feel right to be close to God. But now when I mess up I no longer run away but run too. His grace and mercy is all we need! Praying for you
