Tell Us About Yourself and What the DAB Means To You

Getting Pickled
This last year has been a very challenging year. But a FAITH building year. God has answered my prayer and aloud me to step gracefully away from the Television Ministry in which I had been directing for the last 10 years. He provided an opportunity for me to move my family from the North East Coast of Nova Scotia back to my home land of Southwestern Ontario. He opened the doors for me to start working for myself. And He has provided me with the opportunity to be "pickled"
To be pickled is to be submerged in a solution until it completely changes you. My pastor gave a message about it one day.

God did all this for me because I didn't want a lukewarm walk with Jesus. I have been service the Lord for 26 years. The last ten years I birthed a TV ministry within the church I attended. Through that ministry I reached out to thousands of people around the world. and yet.... I was "Lukewarm". And I knew it!

Now I'm a "Traveler". One week you will find me in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada. The next week I could be in Elkhart, Indiana USA. or in Port-Aux-Basque, Newfoundland Canada. I spend hours everyday driving so I decided to find an audio bible and listen to God's word.

Through the Ministry that Brian began, I have been "Pickled" in Christ. The first time I listened to a DAB podcast was July 12th 2011. I began with Jan 1st in Genesis 1:1 often finding the tears filling my eyes as the glory of God fills my space. And your prayer requests! I hear your cries out to our Lord. Your Genuine hearts, and your praise reports! Awesome. Sometimes God allows me to feel your pain. Once when a young lady told us of her unsaved husband I felt my own heart been ripped out of my chest. I cried out to our Lord in intercessory prayer for that lady and her husband.

Listening to Brian read the books of Moses made me realize that's what I wanted. To be like Moses! A man sold out to God. A very humble man and yet a great leader. Although I have yet to catch up to the current daily podcast I find myself always looking forward to the next opportunity to listen.

Thanks Jake, Your right! I'm averaging about 3,000 Miles per week right now. I'll be leaving in the morning for Goshen, IN USA and then on to Whitby, Ontario Canada. I expect to be home again next Monday night.
I wonder what God has planed for me once I catch up on the DAB pod-casts? Right now I listen to 5 or 6 each day I'm driving. What ever it is, I know it will be good.

I have had a difficult time getting back to the live VOX. There always seems to be something. Tomorrow (Friday) I will be on route to Ottawa. Once again I don't expect to be participating in the VOX. You all have a great time. catch you later.
