Tell Us About Yourself and What the DAB Means To You

Learning
Hello family. I grew up in the atheist Soviet Union and moved to U.S.A. in 2003. I am learning now how to think as an individual, because we, socialists, were stripped of independent thinking, of spirituality and basically made into submissive human machines; I was depressed most of the time. Here, in America, I met different people with smiles on their faces, that had some sort of light in their eyes I couldn't understand, but it made me feel happy, surrounded with good energy. This year I started to read and study the Bible for the first time in my life and I want to learn how to pray. Your prayers are beautiful with so much love and care, I missed this my entire life, it is nurishment for my soul that has been empty and looking for answers. Thank you GOD for leading me here and thank you guys. God bless you all!

Wow... sometimes I wonder if my worldview is too narrow. Yes it is.

(thanks for writing, Luda. You are an inspiration.)

Luda, thanks for sharing part of yourself with us.....truly inspirational. I sometimes take things for granted here and to hear you say how you noticed people smiling because they could, made me realize some little things in life I will be grateful for today. Looking forward to hearing more. Thanks again.
