Tell Us About Yourself and What the DAB Means To You

Thank you Brian
I started DAB in Feb 2011 and completed the Bible for the first time ever. I was raised a Christian and have been a church member all my life but especially recently have been feeling distanced from my church and no longer regularly attend. In mid life, I have a good career, am married and have 2 adult children and one adorable grandchild, but I'm searching for fulfillment in my life. My church is in the midst of a rift and I don't want to take sides; I just want to withdraw. My husband is a distant and angry man and becoming more so. My children are depressed; my son is a poor husband and in the midst of a divorce and is unemployed. His wife is withholding the grandchild from him and from me. My daughter is unhappy in her grad school and lonely. DAB was a lifeline to me in 2011 and in 2012, I'm going to try to reach out with prayer, sharing and gratitude for Brian's ministry.

Thanks for posting your introduction and prayer concerns. We stand with you, holding your hand and giving a hug, when you can't stand the loneliness. Those who have shared in each other's burdens develop a deeper sense of belonging in our community. Let us join you on your journey and we will share experiences together.
