DAB is a great place to be. Keep plugged into it allow all of us to come along side of you. I turned my back on God a few years ago and it was a very dark time. I am now walking with Christ and I know He is always there ready to listen. I am so thankful that God didn't give up on me and He won't give up on you. He will be there for you and is ready to welcome you His son into His arms where you will never be alone again. He sent his only son to die for you so that you will never be separated from Him again!!!

In Gods word it says that we don't have to earn His love or grace. We simply need to believe that He is who He say He is and accept His gift. His son Jesus who died for us. If you believe that is true then pray and ask God to come into your heart. Thank Him for his grace and gift. Ask for forgiveness for ur sins. He will be there ready to welcome you. Ask God to guide you on this new walk and to send people in your life who can help. All those who truly believe in Him andthe salvation He gave us and truly live with God in their heart will be given eternal life with him in heaven.

Steve, wow, what a cool post! I would LOVE to show you how to show you how to grow in a relationship with Jesus! it takes time, like any love relationship does but... sooooo incredibly worth it. One thing you can do too, is visit with folks on the chat room. Click the chat link and come on in. It's a good place to get to know people. It's usually more inhabited in the evenings. On the growing in relationship with Jesus idea.... there are so many wonderful things you can do, and I'm sure others will share their favorites, but mine is to take the DAB reading in written form... you can do this with the new Passages Bible, or Chet puts out the written equivalent too on his website. Read along with the DAB podcast and pick your favorite portion. Then copy that out by hand. Literally, with pen and ink. Copying by hand slows you down enough to really ponder the words and it takes the words to a deeper place in your heart. Then talk to Jesus about that. Make it personal. Like for me today... the bit that got to me was God telling Jacob to go back to Bethel. Bethel was where his journey with God began. God is telling me this in my life right now too... go back to your first love, go back to where we began child... do the first things. Jacob told his people to get rid of their idols (I have a couple that need to go!) to cleanse themselves, and to change their clothes. It's the changing clothes thing that got me. Clothes are how we present ourselves. They are shelter and cover. What does it mean as a spiritual metaphor to change your clothes? So I've been talking about that with God today. This is just an example, I have talks like this with God every day as we walk together through life and His word. It can be VERY personal and intimate. So that is what YOU can do too. It won't sound like much until you do it. Try it with the next DAB and share with me what you get. I love to share this kind of thing and hear what other people are getting. I just can't get enough of it! All the best, let me know if you want to do this with me! :)

I started it January 1st and find myself for excited than the next to see with my spiritual eyes, and hear with my spiritual ears..may God bless and keep you strong brother.

Steve, It's great that you have come to us. I think most of us have stories of being lost, confused and lonely. In time I hope we will all be able to retell our account of how God lead us to Him. My hope is that you will have a story to tell that includes your experiences here.
