Tell Us About Yourself and What the DAB Means To You

Hello to everyone my name is Cristhian or Cris. I am from San Diego, CA and as my title post says I am new to the DAB community and already feel welcomed. I am 20 years old and like all newcomers have joined so that I could hear the word of God anytime anywhere. That said one of the main reasons I joined was the fact that I was tired of how my spiritual life had unfold. Since I was a boy and a teen I had always believed in God because of my catholic upbringing but around my young adult age I began to question day by day creation, life, and death during which my relationship with God had ceased. Needless to say there were some hardships along the way but recently I feel like God has shown me the error of my ways. That the reason why things just don't seem right or out of place was because I had lost a friend, a mentor, and a protector, all the things that make up our God. Although I have a long journey ahead of me I feel like this is the first step to a new life and understanding of myself and of the world around me, that through scripture we can find more of ourselves than we could ever find by ourselves. I would like to thank Brian and all of the DAB staff for making the word of God so accessible! I am so glad that there is a community of people who share the same feelings.
