Hey Everyone,
My name is Matthew McHenry and I have been a DAB follower since 2007. I have so much enjoyed listening to Brian and Jill and thank them for all their hard work and most of all time. It takes time to do all of this and I am very appreciative. I used to list Christian playlists a long time ago under the user name Christ Servant. I think I lost the password so I made a new one. I am 29 years old, married, and we have a baby on the way due for delivery in May 2013! DAB means to me to have fellowship that I don't really get a lot of. Even though Brian isn't in real time in front of me I feel like I know him. The DAB also means that I get to hear the word and it is a time of deep thinking for me to take in and learn from the scriptures. It also means every morning as I cook breakfast and eat I am listening to the DAB. :)
I have had a large ring around these past couple years with jobs, moving, and so many issues. I have a story of my own that I decided to submit to a publishing company. It went through well and I was surprised but hey God gives us the miracles when men won't. I would say so much more but really my story is in this book. I am going to paste a copy of a post I made in another forum. It will give you an idea of what the book is about. Anyway, I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a safe New Year. Tate Publishing has picked up my story and published it into a book. The book is called Released: The Way Out and is my personal testimony of battles I have faced with over eating, drugs, alcohol, suicide, and other addictions. This book talks about Christian confusion, Christian differences, drifting, and of course claiming Jesus as Savior if the reader hasn't already. This book is very honest and I believe is attractive to both the believer and non-believer. I would be honored if you would please check out the link below and read this book. I would also be honored if you would then encourage others to purchase it or even give it to them as a gift. My goal in writing this book was to talk about what others wouldn't talk to me about in this book. I couldn't get help if no one would be "real" and stop acting like they had it together.
I mention DAB in this book and in the past I have posted Christian playlists under the name Christ Servant. At the end of the book I list my favorite Bible verses and Christian playlists to give someone a good start. I listen to your prayer requests at the end of each reading daily. I pray for all of you and also ask you to pray for me and my family as well. I have non-believers in my family just as you all do. I want to reach people with this book to help them like I needed help when I was so alone. Once you read the book if I hope you choose to, I would even appreciate using networks to spread it all over. There are a lot of people hurting who need help and those in prison as well who need the God that we have. Thanks and have a great day.
