Newbie to DAB

I am a jewish believer in the LORD Jesus. I am a musician/teacher and a producer/ engineer. I am home all day alone . I need Godly adult interaction thru the day. Please pray for me that God will cause me to seek HIM continually, and not grow faint and get caught up in the things of the world that the enemy loves to dangle like a carrot in front of our faces.

Welcome, Mike. I'm also a DAB newbie, in between jobs, at home most days searching the internet job postings,living in a non-believing household, so I can understand your need for Godly adult interaction. Can sometimes feel so isolated. So glad I found DAB. Will be praying for you to stay strong in the Lord and that this year He will draw you closer.

Reading your letter motivated me to connect. I too am a new to this forum and to DAB. ONCE I FOUND IT SEVERAL WEEKS AGO, I WAS HOOKED,
I to spend most of my day at home with my husband since he retired. It is not easy slowing down after having traveled the world, raised six children and served God ministering to others once I finally found Him! Oh...but by His grace! I use Twitter to connect with like minded believers and we pray together. I also volunteer with an online Christian ministry. The key for me in this transition was to listen to His voice; "look at Him and not at my circumstances". God has a plan for each stage of our lives. no matter our circumstance, He can use us...no matter where we are! I also write and journal His story in my life.
I will keep you both in prayer as well as the entire DAB Community. As today's message reminds us...don't worry,
He has it ALL covered for us. Lets just worry about today.
May The Lord Almighty keep you and give you peace always,
