Tell Us About Yourself and What the DAB Means To You

-28 here in Thunder Bay Canada, new to DAB, faith warms me up!
God bless this welcoming community, I love it. I pray for sobriety today. I have listened for 24 days, and I called today for my first time. The sincerity is what I have been searching for in this busy life. I am in gratitude, and I want prayers of hope, it's up to me to do the action. I had 63 honest days of sobriety and gave it away. I will do this with your help this time. God bless and thank you.

Hi from another canuck!
It's only -21 here so we're getting off easy by comparison.
When I read your email I picked up on a sense of failure on your part and I wanted to pass along something I read just today that really moved me; it said God is proud of us for TRYING! That really resonated with me as I try to get fit after a heart attack two years ago and the resulting effort on my part to change some old habits. I just thought it was so amazing that God is PROUD of me even if I fail! He loves that we try! I hope I can remember that the next time I let myself down. BTW, I'm proud of you for the same reason and will be praying for your success in every way.

Hugs to you and welcome to the DAB family. I'm on my second time round this year.
