God carries us in our darkest moments

I called the prayer line in January and it aired on February 15th of this year. My prayer request was for my husband, Chris. He had been working really hard at jobs that were really physical and they were taking a toll on his body. He was having a hard time finding a full time job so he was working anything that came along. He was putting in stages for shows, putting in floors, painting, aircraft mechanical work... Anything that came his way. I was really worried about him. On April 11th he passed away from a massive heart attack. I am so heartbroken and miss him so much. People have told me that I will be angry with God but that hasn't been the case. I know why God took him... He was a wonderful man. I didn't realize how many people lives that he touched. He would joke that at his funeral there would only be the boys and I. But wasn't even nearly the case there so many people at his funeral they were overflowing into the lobby. My point to this is that even in my darkest days God carried me through it and still is today and will be for many years to come. I always thought the poem "Footprints in the sand" was beautiful but now I know how truly profound it is!! God has placed it on my heart to share that He is with us (carrying us) during these dark days. But He wants us to keep moving forward and praying every step of the way. He is with us, loving us and guiding us.

Hi Theresa, thank you so much for sharing this. Reading your testimony to God's sovereignty and faithfulness has been a blessing and encouragement to me. I will be praying for you. Will you be continuing with DAB in 2015?

i am experiencing terrible pain 24 hours a day from ELECTRONIC STALKING AND GANG HARASSMENT FROM MY EXGIRLFRIEND AND HER BOYFRIEND THEIR NAMES ARE NZINGA HYMAN AND SENCECA CHAVIS THEY ARE FROM THE WASHINGTON DC AREA FORT WASHINGTON MD AND NW DC THEY WONT LET ME SLEEP PEACEFULLY AND GO WITH ME EVERYWHERE I GO FOR 24 HOURS ITS INSANE I NEED YOUR HELP THEY ARE TRYING CONTINIOUSLY TO KILL ME AND MY NIECE ZALAYAH THEY TORTURE HER AT NIGHT SHE IS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD SHE IS ABOUT TO DIE IN THEIR HANDS PLEASE PRAY FOR US WHEN YOU GO TO SLEEP TONIGHT THANKS I LOVE THE SITE THOUGH
