Greetings from Australia. I listen to the Daily Audio Bible whenever I can. Usually late at night on my I Phone. When Brian reads the Word he brings it to life. I particularly enjoy listening to the Old Testament and often think about how these people walked with, and sometimes without God many centuries ago. That they were real people with human struggles. Also I think about how God has guided people over time. I am very glad that I am living in New Testament times!!!! I need God's grace and forgiveness. I hope to make new Christian friends here and have interesting discussions about what God ministers to us through listening to the Bible scriptures that we hear Brian read.
Off to listen to Brian!

What specifically has stood out for you Kristi about the Old Testament? I am amazed that people lived for thousands of years. I was also thinking about the story of Noah, and the amount of rain that would have fallen to reach the tallest mountains on earth. Also what Abraham must have been thinking when he was tying up his son to sacrifice him. Scary!!!
